Anti-Spam & Email Rules

This Anti-Spam Policy explains the rules you must follow when sending emails through Russkinbox. Because our system uses shared networks, one bad sender can ruin email delivery for everyone. Therefore, we have a zero-tolerance rule for unwanted sales emails (spam). Please note that these rules are a key part of our main Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Forbidden Contact Lists

To keep our system healthy and safe, you must never upload, import, or send emails to:

  • Purchased or Rented Lists: Any list bought from other companies, even if they claim the people said yes.
  • Scraped Lists: Email addresses collected automatically from websites, public lists, or social media.
  • Shared Lists: Contacts gathered from joint marketing events where people did not ask to hear from your brand directly.
  • Old Lists: People who have not received an email from you in the last 6 months. Permission fades over time, which leads to lost emails and spam traps.

2. Consent and Proof

Every person on your list must give clear permission before you email them. Because of this, you must gather permission using one of these ways:

  • Clear Opt-In: A sign-up box that is not already ticked, a newsletter request, or a direct sign-up on your website.
  • Active Customers: Someone who bought a product from you in the last 12 months and had a clear chance to say no to emails at checkout.
  • Proof of Consent: You must save proof like sign-up times, web addresses, and computer IP codes so you can show us if we ask.

3. Required Internet Setup

To follow global email rules from providers like Google and Yahoo, you must prove that you own your domain. As a result, you must set up these three settings before sending emails:

  • SPF: Tells other systems that Russkinbox is allowed to send emails for you.
  • DKIM: Adds a digital signature to show your message was not changed along the way.
  • DMARC: Tells receiving systems what to do with fake emails, which protects your brand name.

Please note that any emails sent without these three settings will be blocked right away.

4. What Every Email Must Have

Furthermore, every sales email sent through Russkinbox must include these key details:

  • Honest Sender Info: Clear “From” names, correct reply addresses, and subject lines that clearly match your business.
  • Working Unsubscribe Links: An easy-to-see opt-out link in the footer, as well as a one-click unsubscribe button at the top.
  • Real Postal Address: The real street address or registered office details of your business placed in every email footer.

5. Limits and Automatic Actions

We check system health all the time. To keep a good sending reputation, your account numbers must stay below these limits for any single campaign or 30-day period:

MetricLimitAction We Take
Spam ComplaintsLess than 0.1% (1 report per 1,000 emails)We stop your campaign right away and check your account.
Hard BouncesLess than 5.0% (5 failed emails per 100)You must clean your list, and we will slow down your sending speed.
UnsubscribesBest to keep under 1.0%We will check your account if your numbers stay too high.

Additionally, whenever an email fails, unsubscribes, or gets marked as spam, our system automatically moves it to your blocked list. Attempting to clear, delete, or re-add these blocked addresses will lead to immediate account closing without any refund.

6. How to Report Spam

We look into all spam complaints straight away. If you receive an unwanted email sent by a Russkinbox user, please forward the full message (including the full email headers) to our safety team:
